"If you are one of those who hates journalists, I can understand it; if you, on the other hand, are a journalist, I also agree with you."

Television Studio of the Pontifical Bolivarian University

There is definitely no profession that people hate more than journalism. They make fun of us when a word gets tangled up or when we don't read the teleprompter correctly, they label us as bad when we write against some personal position or, suddenly, they put us on Twitter questioning our existence.

So yeah, if you're a journalist hater, I get the point; If you, on the other hand, are a journalist, I also agree with you: there isn't much work and people usually avoid us.

Hating journalism is the most common thing in the world. Unfortunately the common is not good, it bores. For this reason, I propose, you have to love journalism:

"Some journalist, while you sleep, is scrutinizing a topic that interests you and the country"

For the audience: Nothing better than feeling that "my story" is important not only for me, but for someone else. You, at some point, have been "the journalist" in your family, in your neighborhood or even in your social networks. The nature of the human being is to communicate. Some journalist, while you sleep, is scrutinizing a topic that interests you and the country. Loving journalism shapes your critical sense and from time to time, your sense of humor.

"Hating journalism is the easiest way, the least citizen way and the most questionable. What would a country be without journalists?"

For journalists:

Listen to the stories and understand how valuable they are to people. And feel privileged to be able to count them.

Having the power with the information.

Connect audiences with novel approaches

Understand, with time and experience, the behavior of societies.

Hating journalism is the easiest way, the least citizen way and the most questionable. What would a country be without journalists? Hating journalism and loving society is a contradiction in itself; because everything we know at some point in history was newsworthy, tellable.

And you, do you still hate journalism?
